The Tide Tables

Holidaying alone for the first time, Elin finds the landscape of her own heart and body being laid bare by the retreating sea. But keeping her company on the shoreline are the determinedly cheerful Beach Radio quartet and a strange lifeguard with advice on how to navigate a rapidly turning tide...
With a powerful score by Sianed Jones and sparkling acapella songs from Mary Keith and Beach Radio.
Also featuring the voice of endocrinologist Professor Saffron Whitehead.

Hereford Times  review
“witty, thought-provoking and entertaining – The Tide Tables fascinated and charmed…”

 Audience responses on the night
"The music managed to make the pituitary gland sound tuneful and work effectively as a lyric!"

“There were lots of familiarities for me and poetically put.  I loved it. Lots of things to identify with but there was a lightness with it that was really good.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever been to a science-themed piece of theatre before. I thought tonight was very entertaining - not like being lectured to”

“There was strong resonance for me. It was positive and I think it’s wonderful to do something on women’s experiences. It feels really different, really unusual. Certainly didn’t want it to end”

“The  singing was fantastic -  great evening of theatre. “
